Death Convention Singers are a rotating super-ensemble of composers, performers and artists based in Grito Ruido, New Mexico. Instrumentation varies with each performance but includes strings, winds, turntables, voices, electronics, and dozens of overdriven bass guitars. The ensemble for Ende Tymes Festival will be a segment of core members from the larger group. More info: https://deathconventionsingers.bandcamp.com/

Lea Bertucci is an American sound artist, composer and performer whose work describes relationships between acoustic phenomena and biological resonance. Her work often incorporates multi-channel speaker arrays, electroacoustic feedback, extended instrumental/vocal technique, and tape collage. As an instrumentalist, she takes an idiosyncratic approach to the amplification of woodwind instruments, creating organic yet electrified sonic interventions. Her debut solo LP, Resonance Shapes, was released in 2013 on the Obsolete Units label and has been praised by A Closer Listen as "A grand exploration of the possibilities inherent in sound”. She is a 2015 ISSUE Project Room Artist-in-Residence and is a Harvestworks New Works Fellow. The Schimpfluch Gruppe has become the epitome of radical outsider art in many respects. Appearing in varying lineups over the years, the 5chimpfluch Grupp3 has been forging a bridge from stirring audio and visual works to disturbing and highly challenging live performances ever since. Their work has covered a wide range of live and recorded output: audio/sonic art, actionism, bruitism, performance, musique concrète, painting and installation-work, confrontational radio broadcasts, physically demanding performances, ‘abreaction plays’ and ‘psycho-physical tests and trainings.’The work created under the name 5chimpfluch deals with therapeutic and analytical actions and reactions of the psyche, the body, and of senses and realities (of both the performers and the audiences), in a radical, critical but also liberating way - an attack on the mind as well as a stimulation of the senses. Core members Rudolf Eb.er, dp, and Joke will be performing a collaborative set, as well as individual solos. This will be their first group performance in the US. dave phillips is an activist using sound as a language, creating sonic rituals that address and oppose the restriction and reduction of life and living, regularly touching on existentialist topics, animal rights, human rights and environmental awareness, resulting in a unique and often cathartic sound world that activates primordial shared emotions and rings in the era of humanimal. dp re/searches and ponders existences and behaviourisms humanimalistically via audio de/construction, psycho-acoustics, sonic rituals; sound as communication in direct and primal form, a tool of metaphysics, a conscience, an unrestrained language. sound as a means to activate primordial shared emotions otherwise hidden by civilised experience. dp's work engages, invites rumination, endorses sentient and environmental e/quality and encourages intervention and action; therapeutical stimulation is acknowledged. a form of release is evoked, a liberating cleansing, a sound catharsis that opposes the omnipresent reduction of existence, that puts us in touch with our sentient origins as well as with the realities of our times. dp rings in the era of humanimal.. dp has been sonically active for over 30 years, has appeared on more than 190 releases and has played around 500 concerts in 40 countries. Rudolf Eb.er’s rites and artefacts are portals to the traumatic expanses and abysses of human existence. Regarded as psychopomp or art-brut shamanist, his trail of work leads deep down to - and through - the nethermost regions of the human psyche. Rudolf Eb.er’s research de-occults the psychic body through psycho-physical tests and trainings. He employs and combines abreactive and cleansing actionism with sonic rituals, psychoactive acoustics and close-up fieldrecordings of nature and decay, generating audio-environments into which he plants grotesque psycho-magic rituals and tantric exercises that trigger a nondual, higher awareness.

Rudolf Eb.er aka Runzelstirn & Gurgelstøck founded the Schimpfluch extreme and outsider artist collective in Zürich in 1987. Schimpfluch exponents are highly regarded for their unique and obscure aural and visual work; their confrontational, physically demanding performances and shock treatments remove the boundaries of the body and open up accesses to the collective unconscious.

Eb.er, born 1967 in Zürich, Switzerland, is currently based in Osaka, working as painter, de/composer and psycho-spiritual researcher.

SICKNESS started to create/destroy sound in or about 1988. Starting out as straight-forward, full blast, harsh electronic purity; SICKNESS was a contrast and collection of harsh noise filled with quick cuts between sources, hard rapid fire loops, sheet metal crash and harsh electronics/feedback. Sets under his own name pull more from musique concrete but still keeping the harsh noise close at hand.. It's active seeking to push, pull, or shove the listener into the theme of each piece moving them as the sounds shift and flow. "Goudreau’s stuff was tense, and menacing. Sounds reminiscent of passing traffic, or distant voices in an airport, suddenly shorted out or were obliterated in a burst of noise, as Goudreau’s hands moved across the equipment with the deftness of a piano player." Brian Slattery, New Haven Independent

MV Carbon is a Brooklyn based interdisciplinary artist. Her work is comprised of live performance, installation, projection, music and sculpture. She works to transcend the limitations of categorization and to contrive an ongoing sense of attainability. Embracing a non-traditional approach to music, she plays cello, gongs, amplified objects, electronics and crafted instruments. Her current work explores interchangeability, the human mechanism, perceptive states of consciousness, and the empirical force of nature. More info: https://myspace.com/mvcarbon1

Kenneth Zoran Curwood (b. 1971 NYC) is a Brooklyn based artist working in film, animation and sculpture. He received a BA (concentration in Sculpture) from School of Visual Arts in 1995. His 16mm films combine traditional animation practices (cel, rotoscope, stopmotion) with many bygone special effects techniques (slitscan, optical printing, tinting, toning). His sculptural work plays with it’s own role in space and culture. He has led workshops at Columbia University and Camera Club New York. More info: https://vimeo.com/user2207903
